Yer it's all community generator for the most part. Basically a game is only one here once is demand for it to be.

Is the Steam import broken? Using the URL https://howlongtobeat.com/steam.php, it finds my Steam library just fine, but when I change the combo-box on one or all of the games (1000+ is quite a chore... ) and press the button at the bottom, nothing happens and the page is just refreshed as the first time I visited the above mentioned url.

I waited for a day thinking maybe the job was scheduled to run at a later time, but no games are shown in my HLTB account :(

Also tried with Edge browser after being unsuccessful in Chrome. but no luck eiter...

p.s. an option to add all games not played from my steam lib to the Backlog automatically would drastically reduce the effort of changing all combo-boxes!

I do not know if this has been brought up yet as I'm relatively new to the site but I have a suggestion. I'm playing through Yakuza right now and I've wanted to share my thoughts of the game as I was playing through it and I thought that was what the general comments was for but I was mistaken. Don't get me wrong, I'm loving the site right now how it is but I really want some kind of update system (kind of similar to Facebook) where you can make posts commenting about the game you are currently playing which get saved onto your playthrough after you post them.

I know this feature I'm suggesting is pretty unneeded but I would really appreciate it if you guys could consider implementing a feature like that.

It would be neat to have a section in the profiles dedicated to the reviews that person has done. Maybe I'm in the minority on this but when I find someone who has similar taste as me or is good at putting thoughts down I like to go through their stuff to see what they recommend and what they think of games I'm considering getting.

With the spam links, I would suggest adding rel="nofollow" to links posted on the forum (maybe just for external sites).

This would mean that search engines do not see hltb as officially linking to those sites (and it's how wikipedia handles external links). If they're posting in the forums for trying to get "link juice" then this will remove the motives to do so :)

I have made it so that it shows all messages sent and received in the list instead of "conversations". I have plans to remake it because I've been pretty dissatisfied with it for quite some time.

It wasn't a question of if, but when. There isn't much point in adding it at the moment aside from backlogging a couple games where the name is confirmed. It will probably be added closer to release (but really whenever the admin feels like adding it).

It's doesn't really matter when it will be there as long as it's there by the release of the system. I know some people like to have a Wishlist or add things to there backlog if they know for sure they're going to buy a game but in the long run of things none of that really matters as long as once the game is out and I have it in my house I'm able to list it, and I doubt it won't be there by then,

All major platforms are added to the site. Switch will be there a couple months from release, just haven't added it yet with little confirmed.

The site is older than the current generation of consoles. There have also older consoles that were added upon request from time to time when there is a user that would actually add times for it (niche cases).

��� Seeing these in both firefox and chrome so I'm assuming it isn't just a font issue on my end. The site suddenly doesn't seem to like special characters on game titles in our lists (but it is fine on the game page itself and in the searches. It also will show � instead of apostrophes and colons. I replaced 3 of them on the Doom description but I've been seeing them from time to time. Like on the Bioshock Infinite page, the first sentence says "BioShock Infinite is a first-person shooter like you�ve never seen." On the XCOM 2 page it says "planet�s last line of defense".

I thought I was the only one seeing those. Definitely not a localized problem.

I think it would be a good idea to have a number on the game pages reviews tab for any reviews that someone may have written, the same way there is a number next to the discussion tab. I've clicked on a few review tabs on game pages hoping to find a few reviews, a button telling me beforehand how many there are would be a nice feature I think :)

As of right now, it is functioning fine for me.

Also had the same issue, noticed it when I added Pokémon sun to my playing list.

This entry Broadsword: Age of Chivalry can be merged into this entry Broadsword : Age of Chivalry. The game's title comes with a space before the colon so probably worth setting the no space variant as an alias to stop people thinking it doesn't exist.

Getting a lot of 503 errors lateley. Also having the same problem with the Pokemon games.
