I've been playing the new WoW expansion: The War Within A LOT lately. Long-time WoW player here so I've been playing it mostly the last 20 years. They really figured out how to streamline a lot of things from Dragonflight (the last expansion) - and the launch for this one was smooth. The new zones are deep in the earth - and one is probably the best looking and interesting zone ever - Hallowfall - it's illuminated by this huge crystal of light in the sky in the cavern. The new hero talents are really interesting and fun and I've been levelling several characters of mine just to play around with them. I've been debating on which character to focus on but I think I'm going to go my usual Mage - I think with Arcane Spellslinger which is fun - so is Sunfury (a phoenix pops up when u do a big cooldown and starts spamming Arcane and Fire spells!) Diabolist Destruction Warlock is really fun too - summoning these huge demons to fight for you. Raids start this Tuesday, as does Mythic dungeons, and the new Delve feature is fun - mini solo dungeons with you and an AI companion where you can get similair gear from even raiding or Mythic+. Also having all your mounts now able to "Skyriding" with dynamic flight is amazing - just like you did with your dragons in Dragonflight.

I also bought the new Star Wars: Outlaws game. I'm a huge Star Wars nerd (see avatar pic!) but this game, while looking beautiful, just isn't hitting the marks for me. I don't enjoy stealth gameplay really (which is why the Assassin's Creed franchise got tired for me fast.) I made it to the first big planet then stopped playing and would rather play the new WoW expansion. I'll get back to it at some point - possibly.

P.S. Legend of Kyrandia 3: Malcolm's Revenge is a hilarious, weird game with awesome music. I still play songs from it.

Okay I'll go - this is my first post in this topic but have been reading for years.

I am currently playing Final Fantasy VII - Rebirth. I'm amazed at how much content there is. I'm not usually a completionist but in each zone I have to do all the side and exploration quests. I think I'm about 50 hours into and just at the half way mark.

I'm also dabbling in Hearthstone again - since it's their 10 year anniversary. I used to play it religiously for the first 6 years or so (even applied to work on the team! But it didn't happen.) I have to be careful because I can get angry if I lose too many games so moderation is key. It's still fun though and the art style for the cards is still wonderful - not to mention the voice-work and sound effects.

I was also doing my annual replay of the Mass Effect Trilogy (legendary now with several mods.) I'm into Act 2 there but put that on hold when Rebirth came out. Oh, and I finally finished Final Fantasy 16 in prep also for Rebirth. I liked it a lot.

Jim Carrey Grinch, Die Hard, The Muppets Christmas Carol, if I have time, King of Kings (1961, a film about Jesus's life) and this year I added Spirited and Home Alone 1 and 2 but I'll probably stick with 2 since I like it more. I also have Last Holiday from 2006 but that's more of a New Years film. Mostly films my generation from the late 90's and early to mid 2000's grew up with. Surprisingly no Elf which I haven't seen in years.

Nice. I just watched Home Alone 1 last night, and Scrooged just now. I plan on watching Die Hard and making it part of my new Christmas rotation. I might watch Home Alone 2 as well. And I usually watch Its A Wonderful Life. Happy Holidays.

Not playing much at the moment as I'm watching my Christmas Film Rotation that I do yearly, but I did end up starting Kao The Kangaroo's reboot from last year. Feels literally like a game from 20 years ago. Seriously. The story is nonsensical and the voice acting is not great, but the voice actors are trying and it's a completely Polish cast from what I understand. Gameplay is super simplistic and reminds me of Platformers from two decades ago, specifically Brave: The Search for Spirit Dancer which I played last year and enjoyed. It's an alright game so far, nothing to complex which for this game's case is mostly good. The controls take a bit of time to get used to like needing to keep momentum when double jumping onto other platforms or else you'll fall but it's an extremely by the books game. I'm not complaining however. I'm very surprised that this series in general got a redo considering I HATED playing the first Kao game on a Dreamcast Emulator. This is miles above it thankfully.

I also tried a bit of Jusant and it's fine I guess? I'll play more later but the mechanics are thankfully not that complicated for rock climbing and it's easy to get a grasp of. I'll play more later but right now I'm focusing on the Kao reboot.

Just curious - what is your Christmas Film Rotation? Certain Christmas movies you watch? What are they? I do that too... haha.
